Watching Lawrence O'Donnell. Chuck Schumer is going to wipe the smirk off of McConnell's face.

He's speaking with Lawrence Tribe. The first 15 minutes of the show...and counting...consists of the game plan Schumer has to force votes on the Senate floor for witnesses and an ACTUAL TRIAL, not a Mitch McConnell complete exoneration victory lap.

McConnell's a smug and devious manipulator, and while I don't often see Schumer given credit for being "forceful," make no mistake...he is not planning to take McConnell's bullshit laying down.

This will be interesting.

I do think Schumer is now set up to take the fight to McConnell. Schumer isn't always so strategic, but I think he is quite prepared to work in concert with Pelosi.
