One last comment on the CT oped piece...

Basically, they have gotten about as much as could be expected from him, and they're willing to discard him before he ruins their brand permanently.

Backlash against radical Christian policies is growing.

This is just what I said to my FB friend who posted about how they finally woke up. I told him, no, they haven't. They just don't need him anymore. He's a bigger liability than asset now that they have their judges on SCOTUS and elsewhere. They have Pence (worse than Trump) waiting in the wings.

He's a "real" politician and is embedded deeply into the Dominionist crowd.

Pence is a true believer, the most dangerous kind of politician. Trump believes in nothing beyond feathering his own nest.
