How much would you be willing to pay for peace of mind?

How much would you pay to wake up every day the rest of your lives never having to think or worry about healthcare again? People in many other countries have this peace of mind. For me, peace of mind is the pursuit of happiness.

Here in America the people have a habitual self destructive quality to them I do not possess. The American people do not make their healthcare system better, they make it worse. When the American people do create something that makes their lives better they quickly try to destroy it, Obamacare is one example. The American people do this in almost every aspect of their lives.

There is no such thing as a perfect healthcare system. There is no healthcare system that will make everyone happy. The goal should be, peace of mind. Peace of mind is priceless.

We have never had a national healthcare system in America. I bet most Americans don't know this. Our healthcare system is a bunch of odds and ends that have been patched together over many decades. It has become unmanageable, corrupt and unaffordable.
I am one of the lucky people in America, I have health coverage, however, a major illness would still hurt me financially. If the major illness lasted longer than a year it would bankrupt me and I have health coverage, think about that for a minute.

In my opinion, we only have one option left. A national healthcare system for all and it goes by the name Medicare. Many Americans are easily mislead when they hear their taxes will go up to pay for peace of mind. They are unable, because of ignorance and fear to connect the dots. Yes, you will have more taken out of your pay check for medicare, however your monthly payment to your corrupt insurance company will disappear.

If someone wants to raise my taxes in order to give me peace of mind. Where do I fucking sign up?

Ask yourself this question. Have you ever heard anyone from another country who has a national single payer healthcare system say they wish they had the American healthcare system. They all think we are nuts and they are correct.

I would save a bundle with MFA. So would most Americans.

Group buying is always stronger and removing subsidized insurance companies taking the cream off the top, the working class does much better than with the hodgepodge system we have now.

and paying a third of my income so my American wife and her mother have the healthcare they need and no healthcare for myself. I expect to die much younger in America than I would have done in the UK. I have no peace of mind.

As a nation, Americans pay the same in taxes that go towards healthcare, plus we have to have insurance as well. Health outcomes are worse in USA, the people die two years younger.

It is a total scam. The nation is being ripped off and until Democrats communicate this, the GOP will get away with continually taking healthcare away from millions of people.
