overnight shift. He was running the station during the lottery drawing live on the air. He made damn sure his ticket was the right one. Called his mother...etc. But sure enough, he won $8.5 million. Called in sick the next day and drove to Austin to pick up his check.
He quit his job the next day. About 3 or so years later he came back and asked for his job back. He was bored.
They didn't rehire him. You don't want rich guys working as just lowly staff.
