From Wikipedia

Three United States Presidents have been impeached: Andrew Johnson in 1868, Bill Clinton in 1998 and Donald Trump in 2019.[30][31] Neither Johnson nor Clinton were convicted by the Senate, while Trump still awaits a Senate trial. Additionally, there were efforts to impeach John Tyler and Richard Nixon (Nixon resigned before proceedings began).[32]

Thought I'd post this since a Trumper told me over Christmas he's only "half impeached"

6. Very nice, but Wikipedia is not authoritative of anything.

The encyclopedia anyone can edit you know.

9. Funny, that's what educated people

Think that those citing Wikipedia need to be on the receiving end of.

Because nobody who respects expertise, reliability and credibility trusts Wikipedia as a source for anything.

13. Wikipedia is a great route to original information sources

Yes, I am lazy and will cite Wikipedia, but I do check the sources linked in the Wikipedia article. If those check out, but the information is not concisely written, I often use the Wikipedia article to provide the same information in a tighter format.

For factual information I find Wikipedia to be pretty reliable, such as the historical information cited above. For political information, such as bios of political figures or information on current issues, their articles can be very slanted or even completely inaccurate. As with any source, you have to weigh the original sources and the way the information is provided.

I do not find Wikipedia to any less reliable than many news sources - and Wikipedia does provide more accessibility to the sources to support their information than any news source I have ever seen.

12. You want to demonstrate reality, don't use Wikipedia.

Even if you happen to be right this particular time.

For all you know, the thing you cited will disappear tomorrow.

18. The citation is not evidence ...

... unlike that video of Nancy Pelosi, which *is* evidence.

Do you understand what "evidence" is?

19. Indeed I do. Do you understand that even "hearsay" is evidence?

Likewise, for "circumstantial" evidence.
Courts will determine how much weight to afford either of the above.
The same holds true for Wikipedia.
Now, unless you're just flinging shit, which of the facts cited in the Wiki article do you dispute?
