for the Dem party to leave these two subjects out of the platform. MJ praised Pres. Clinton but Politico is on and trying oh so hard to say that Clinton and Obama really don't get along, but Clinton did give a great speech. I'll stick with it for a few more minutes but I can see how this a.m. is going to go with them. Halperin was very complimentary along with Meacham and Joey is just blustering. Translation: President Bill Clinton was way too awesome...dammit..

More of the peasants are so dull and can't understand the nuances of economics. Standard Repug condescension. May we can't, but we damn well know when we're being mugged and that's what the banksters and Wall Street are doing. Big Dawg knows that and made it clear.

Among other things, a big, BIG difference between Romney and Obama is that Obama enjoys campaigning. He's having fun. I think if you asked Obama what he'd like to do on any given afternoon, he'd want to go out to a local burger joint and meet some average voters. Romney just looks perpetually pissed off that he has to court the favor of these "commoners" in order to grasp the power he desperately desires. He doesn't like people and he hates campaigning and it shows.

Obama is like Clinton. Bubba loves everyday people -- you can just see it in the way he interacts with them. You can't fake something like that.

Can't fake it for long. Bush tried to, but the basic contempt and indifference usually burrowed its way out.

Rmoney is in pain because he wants the position so desperately but hates mingling with 'ordinary folks' while Obama is as cool as they come. Bubba was great last night - he was lovin' it.

Hillary sure enjoyed it.
It's delish to watch.

And he did it with his usual command of facts 'n' figures and the relaxed but passionate style, leavened with plenty of humor, that is his trademark. Truly a magnificent speech. I suspect that the Rmoney "brain trust" is today looking for pea shooters with which to blow their brains out. That was a brutal mauling they got from the Big Dawg.

The "Big Dog" rocked!!! As did Sister Simone, Rev. Cleaver, Sandra Fluke, Elizabeth Warren, Cecile Richards, Chris Van Holland, & so many others! I had no idea (and I'm a political junkie) Cecile Richards, (Director of Planned Parenthood) is the daughter of Gov. Ann Richards of Texas ("He can't help it...he was born with a silver foot in his mouth&quot fame...as well as being an exceptional Governor.

T'was a night to celebrate fact over lies, large tent over walk in closet, open hearts over closed minds, & truth telling over lies & hypocrisy!

I am too amped to sleep (left coaster) so I thought I'd share a few moments that I will always remember.

Lastly...

I LOVED STATES & TERRITORIES ROLL CALL! Each state gets I"bragging rights" and if that doesn't say "UNITED STATES", nothing does. Was great to lose voice sittin' in front of the TV!

When confronted with the facts
the repukes have no
argument.why? Because their
policies don't work, except for
the rich. It's ok for them to run
up the deficit with needless wars, but when a
democrat does it it's socialism
and redistribution of wealth.I
wish that party of outdated
ideas would simply disappear.

was a skilled trial attorney delivering a most effective summation to the jury, and that jury is made up of normal Americans.
He successfully made the case for Obama while marginalizing the radical wing nuts that comprise the Republican mainstream.
He has the Republicans searching for their cyanide capsules to effectuate the Herman Goering exit strategy.
In essence, he gave the bigoted radical extremists a nervous tic.
It was a breathtaking work of Shakespearean art, on a par with Mark Antony's "Honorable men" speech that was the wooden stake through the vampire's heart.

Bill Clinton is only 66 years old. Good Lord willing, we're going to have several more election cycles where the Big Dawg can come out and spank the GOP silly. And he'll then be joined by former President Obama.

It should do wonders for President Warren's re-election campaign.
