he is sputtering a little. I wish Tweety was sitting there. Two faced Mika is right there with them. It seems orgasmic for Chuckie Todd.

Edit to add:
4 republicans there hammering Axlerod, Meeka making stupid faces, and an audience of democrats wearing Chuck Todd buttons...

(1,828 posts)He made such an ass of himself with his "analysis" last week that Dems wish they had the diversity of the GOP bench. They're trying to salvage him with fake groupies maybe?

(13,574 posts)Do they trade off? This was the great year to be going second. Even if we would have had a more upbeat positive plan in the works, it sure helped to see that hate/liefest (Liepalooza?) last week go first.
So far it seems, if this doesn't do the trick, nothing would. Democrats have to go out and take advantage of what should be a big bounce.

(25,704 posts)There have been a lot of studies about this subject. People make up their minds about a case in less then ten or so minutes. That means the prosecution/plaintiff makes their case and the jury decides during opening statements. Once the mind is made up the juror just picks and chooses the evidence to believe. If there is an eyewitness that directly contradicts the juror's preconceived notion, then the juror decides that they are biased or lying.
Of course there are Perry Mason moments but those are exceedingly rare, maybe one out of thirty trials.

Axelrod was on point and in fact, he was SO on point that the only way the clown crew seated there could block the messenger and not let the message go out, was to start acting silly and talk over him in a feigned light-hearted manner, which Schmo proceeded to do. And when Schmuck and Monkey boy were done their gigglefest, Axelrod CONTINUED to finish what he was saying.
THAT to me was a sign that this whole week has taken its toll on the shills.
