He keeps trying to convince people that Trump only did this for real reasons, since Trump even criticized Bush and Obama for actions in the Middle East.

But anyone who understands how Trump thinks - projection, hypocrisy and winning at all costs - knows he will simply use what he has seen works. He saw Bush's fake wars work to get him reelected, and will gladly use a war to distract from impeachment and get his deplorable base riled up.
