Did Trump's deep jealousy of Obama fuel his decision to assassinate Soleimani? (Original Post) dlk Jan 2020 OP

While trump tries to look at ways he too can profit from it. Also putin is claiming intel set him up , so that is another sign he's likely involved in this too, and using this to weaken us with .

Look at the way he praises first responders and military people (even really bad ones who commit atrocities). When someone else does something heroic he seems to think its an extension of himself.

In his twisted logic, this assassination makes him "the good guy with a gun". He would never have the balls to risk his life for anything, but since he has the American military might at his disposal he can pretend that their strength comes from him.

No humility in this man at all. No sense of proportion. No anticipation of consequences. Everything comes down to I win, you lose.

But with Trump at the helm, we all lose.

that was the iconic, oft-repeated sound-bite from Obama's post Bin Laden raid press conference.

The guy is clearly all kinda sick. Sometimes I think even if we tried, we couldn't find a person less capable of doing this job. Such an emotionally stunted creep. Most of his children are pathetic, entitled little assholes. So incredibly unaware. The blond one (not Jr.) actually tweeted something about opening a can of fucking whoop ass prior to the Soleimani killing. Like its a damn WCW match! This nightmare seems so real. When I wake up, I'm gonna write a book about it, but I'll bet nobody buys it cuz this is so unbelievable.

someone told him he could "beat" Obama by doing this.

We've seen this before! A president who is completely mentally unfit, being manipulated by canny war profiteers into authorizing shit no rational person would. Reagan. Bush II.

from the impeachment hearings. So far it's working. Wonder what they ruled out. Euthanizing undocumented immigrants? Clear cutting Yellowstone? Burning the rest of California?

It’s not possible to determine which one(s) he’s operating under at any given time. I also think Putin has a hand in this assassination, since Russian oil prices have now spiked.
