One thing about us Dems is
all of our leaders have Class. No comparison with the bush/cheney, bush/quayle? and reagan. Before Obama we had Clinton who all of us remember well and who presided over the best 8 years of my life then we had President Carter, class incarnate himself and then President Johnson before him who done more for race relations and a general feeling of love thy neighbor. Then before that we had JF Kennedy who they had to assassinate to stop him from transforming our country to what can I do for my country type feelings where together we can do great things as going to the moon was in its day then we had President Truman who didn't let the buck stop anywhere but at his desk who was solid as a rock, if President Truman said it it was fact, no bullshit, no beating around the bush just plain simple fact and then FDR and we all know what kind of a man he was, gave us the new deal that the pukes have been trying to tear down ever since.
The pukies on the other hand have had, bush2/cheney two most polarizing figures in modern history, foreign or domestic, war criminals who murdered thousands and thousands in Iraq and Afghanistan, then it was poppy and the (turkey shoot,) the carnage of highway one at the end of the first Iraqi war, and the general feeling of malice then there was President Reagan who did more to hurt the individual people in the USA than anyone in recent history by cutting and gutting our safety nets, who gave us trickle down that only trickled up to his rich budies, ie 'big campaign donors.' Before that the affable Ford who really was more of a figure head as a President who suffered from vertigo quit often such as it not being unusual to hear the news and they'd say, well President Ford fell part way down the steps to air force one today, luckily no bones were broken. I suspect mostly because when one is soused he is limber as a rag so bones don't break very easy. Then they had tricky dick. A man that only checkers trusted and I'm not so sure of that, A man who wanted to be dictator and was working on becoming that very thing. Then they had Ike. Ike is a little out of place here, Ike was a good man who was a visionary of sorts who brought us together after ww2 and Korea and gave us our interstate highways system and warned us of the Military Industrial complex, then before that more grubby handed greedy lying ass bastards. None of who gave two shits for us regular people whose toil made this whole system work back when we had a thriving middle class that is, for those of us who can remember that far back.
Yes we have history on our side showing that Democratic Presidents are better at being human first and at being President of the people all the time.
