Republicans Just Vote To Remove Him Now - You Don't Need To Go Through The Grinder

Trump had his chance to defend himself. He ignored all the subpoenas. Wouldn't let anyone testify. Couldn't provide any evidence of his innocence.

I watched the Lev interviews. The country is obviously being run by the mafia with Putin at the helm. You fix it. Trump can't hurt you if he is in a jail cell or out on bail in New York with a gag order. Imagine Trump with a gag order. I can't stop laughing.

We don't need to spend a month or two proving what is already obvious while the Republican Party is destroyed even more. The Ukraine shakedown was 7 separate felonies. Only an idiot would want to defend the criminal.

Remove this mob boss, and we can start prosecuting his lieutenants.

Law and Order.

That said to trump a variation of:

Maybe resignation would be best?

I suspect after Trump's voted out we will see many trying to gain back credibility by saying they suggested he resign.

Anyone who might have said that is long gone. His rages are well documented, and nobody wants to start up one of those.

They need to feel the pain of every minute of their betrayal to their country.

AND the citizens need to see every detail of said betrayal. It should be branded in everyone's mind that the GOP rigged the trial, violating their sworn oath and letting terror continue to reign here and around the world.

This impeachment trial is the Repugs chance to rid themselves of Trump once and for all.

I've always said - there's power in numbers. If the Repugs band together - Trump can't possibly 'primary' all of them and he wouldn't be able to take them all on at once.

This coming impeachment trial - is their perfect opportunity to gather the 67 votes they need to impeach Trump. He won't know what hit him. He'd be out on his butt with no recourse to hit back.

I'm sure that Trump would be very vocal and say all things he can to take the Party down with him.

But the Repugs only have to use the same talking points he always does when he gets in a fix.

Things like - He's a proven pathological liar and he's making things up. He's a disgruntled former employee of ours and he's just trying to get back at us.

This is your chance Repugs. If you don't take him down now - you'll wind up going down with the ship when he does implode.
