If the GOP Senators ignore the opportunity to hear his testimony BEFORE they vote. He should march into the nearest network studio and tell his story to the American people INCLUDING the cowardly GOP Senators.

It has been said that if the vote were a secret ballot Trump would be gone in a flash. In other words, they need a cover for their vote.

If Bolton testifies in the open in the next day or two he can prove he is right when it would make a difference. Otherwise, he won't be able to say I told you so. Oh, he can say it but I suspect he will anger many of his potential book buyers.

I for one will not buy his book if he lets this travesty of justice move forward to acquit this clearly guilty president.
On the other hand, if he steps forward and tells what he knows now I WILL buy his book and put it on the shelf.

John Bolton please do the right thing NOW. Tell what you know NOW when it counts.

not a dime from me goes in his pocket. The core revelations are already leaked and if the GOP won't hear his testimony-that's it. Start another round of impeachment inquiries IMMEDIATELY, add in the new testimony when you get it and re-bring the enhanced Articles of Impeachment.

Will be easy for them to call him a liar. Plus, if he goes on TV then repubs can say, ok we've heard it all, no reason to have him testify.

The Senators will then face the reality that this is what HE says before they vote.

They will know and it may not change 53 votes but all it has to change is a handful that NEEDS the excuse to hear from the horse mouth so to speak.

He could then go to the House and repeat it under oath.

I don't say it's a perfect plan but for me, its better than sitting here wringing my hands in complete despair.

I'm sorry but being satisfied or reconciled to the only thing that we can hope for is a "blue wave" DOESN'T work for me.

As I have said in dozens of posts I really believe the fix is in for 2020 and no blue wave is going to overcome it given that the Senate is about to cut trump lose to get even more radical ways to openly steal the 2020 election.

And if the blue wave only comes close (Clinton's 3 votes weren't enough) he will pull and Putin and declare himself the winner and NOT leave the oval office.

If I'm right, I will take no glee in saying I told you so.

If Bolton is seen, right now, to back up the House managers, GOP senators may recognize the price they'll pay in fundraising and at the polls if they suppress evidence.

But he won't. If the book ultimately makes it to print, it won't have devastating information about dump. It will have enough juicy stuff to make it an interesting read, but never expect much from a republican.
