Have we seen the actual evidence of this yet? Never did know who made this claim.

“Lead House impeachment manager Rep. Adam Schiff said he doesn't think he made an unforced error during his closing arguments when he referred to an anonymous threat that the White House reportedly made to Senate Republicans to put their "head on a pike" if they voted against Trump in the impeachment trial.
. "If the worst they could point to is that I referred to a published report by CBS, that's pretty thin gruel."

Potentially, but what evidence do you have that he threatened them? If it was just political gamesmanship than that's what both sides have been doing for decades (if they're smart).

Threats of violence or other retribution would be illegal on their face.

Also not sure how that would be witness tampering; more like jury tampering...

Trump coming down the escalator to announce his run for president by saying Mexico was sending rapists, criminals and drugs to the US would have ended his candidacy.

Insulting McCain or mocking the disabled reporter or the Access Hollywood tape or insulting a Gold Star Family would have done it as well.

the Mueller report would have led to impeachment for massive obstruction of justice and who knows how many counter intelligence items...

I suspected more, and I suspect that the whole impeachment process is not over by a long shot, by any means, despite what the Senate does. I wouldn't put it pass Nancy P. to write up more impeachment charges (and continue), after all, she's only doing her job as she should, reining in this corrupt president/thug. There are those who say that the impeachment process will hurt democrats, and I say otherwise, it'll help democratic candidates and put at peril the Senate gop thugs that continue to enable rump.
