That’s how long the new Senate is seated before the new president is inaugurated.

If he’s re-elected... it’s highly unlikely that we take back the Senate. We could in fact lose the House if that happens.

The White House race is for all the marbles this time (with the caveat that winning some state legislatures is critical for redistricting).
