Could the Democrats now call for a mistrial?

Since many others are now known they were involved in this. trump lawyers, republican Senate members and House members and others that were involved with the trial? Should Justice Roberts recuse himself from it if trump tried to corrupt him with calls and having others trying to bribe him? Also who is behind paying them?

1. I don't think so...

... they can ask crooked Barr to investigate - but he will say there is no cause.

2. Wouldn't that be up to the presiding judge?

Especially now that numerous people involved with the trail (maybe including Roberts if trump tried to threaten, bribe or influence him in any way)have been exposed by Parnas of being part of this all along and not disclosing their involvement, or for not recusing themselves knowing this trial was corrupted

3. No. The Senate makes its own rules.

Currently it has a majority of Republicans, so the Republicans make the rules. There is no rule regarding "mistrials" in impeachments, so there is no recourse, at least until November 3. On that date, if enough Democratic voters turn out, they can replace enough Republicans in the Senate with Democrats to change the majority. Then, new rules can be enacted.
