Heartily recommend watching "Where's My Roy Cohn". Unbelievable how crooked and Ruthless a person

can be. He was McCarthy"s Lawyer in the Unamerican Activities crucifiction of US citizens. It details the method and thinking of Cohn and then the coup de grace. Trump is the identical manifestation of all the evil and more.

working for that committe, too.

There was a genuine problem of covert Soviet intervention in the US at the time. The problem with the hearings was HOW they were conducted, like a witch trial. McCarthy was in it for the image if being a grand defender of the country rather than to actually find real threats to the nation. He followed (or matched) Cohn's tactics.

Bobby and Cohn met during that time and clashed. Bobby totally despised Cohn and his tactics and style.
