The GoP is going to go either of 2 ways: Some saviour is going to step into a shaft of heavenly

light (Jeb?) and declare that the wing-nutty nitwits have ruined their wonderful party, of benevolent job-creators. This person will sound like reason personified. Gay: ok. Weed: ok. Immigrants: ok. Contraception: check. Abortion in certain cases: check. It will be like a breath of fresh air. Remember when Chris Christie appointed a muslim judge? He was attacked viciously by the nutjobs. He said "That's just stupid! Shut up!" It sounded reasonable at the time. He and Jeb are manouvering in that direction. Scar is putting himself in position to declare that they have been wrong, and how can they continue to steal if they are out of power? Let Joe show you the way.

The other way is into the abyss. Oblivion.

Just my 2 cents...

If the Republican Party can eventually become one of them (again?), then I'm all for it.

This reactionary, binary, run-to-one-side, run-to-the-other-side dance that the small percentage of low-information voters are doing is killing us. It would seem that this country could make more nuanced moves with more choices.

win or lose this election, they have some serious self-inventory to do. They are on the brink of obsolescence.

That for the one percent both parties work great. When you have enough money that you can flush it down the toilet 24/7, the Grovers and Koches have no problem putting out strings of Mitt Romneys.
