Somebody has pointed out to Roseanne Barr

that Donald Trump views direct scolding as a challenge which he will go out of his way to defy. Better to communicate through rumor and talk among close colleagues; Trump pays attention to that shit--it's close a conspiracy theory, which he wholeheartedly and without fail embraces--and does not feel threatened, ironically, by an indirect threat.

Roseanne isn't going anyplace. He does want Trump to stop tweeting about DOJ matters, and indirectly threatening to resign is the best way to get this empty threat into the moldy sponge that is Trump's brain.

the whole "even Barr draws a line somewhere" is bee ess. Barr watched as Trump pushed and demanded Sessions go further than Sessions was prepared to go. He knows that Trump will go as far as he can get away with. If he isn't stopped he goes further when it suits him.

Randy Rainbow seized control of my mind and will. I'll stop it.

On second thought, *I'm* not insulting them by implying they're female because I don't believe being called a female is an insult. *They* will feel insulted because they do believe that calling a man by a woman's name is insulting. They are creating the insult out of their own defective souls. It's like in junior high school, when being called a "brain" was a total put-down.

Roseanne Barr (the woman) is the last sister I would defend against anything. Her gender is not an insult; her beliefs and behavior are. Implying someone, male or female, is a "Roseanne Barr" is shorthand for saying that person is cruel, evil, venal and disgusting.

Roseanne is a woman? Were it not so.

Maybe I won't stop it after all.

5. Tell that to all the women who read your post and see you cleverly calling a man

By a woman's name, clearly in an insulting manner, who are reading it without the benefit of living inside your head.

As for Randy Rainbow - there is nothing inherent in being a gay man that prevents him from making misogynistic statements.

and I believe we are in agreement about the big picture (misogyny is bad), but do you seriously believe that any woman will feel diminished by my calling William Barr by the name of a famously horrible (and btw misogynistic) woman?

Referring to a man you despise by a woman's name implies you similarly despise women, regardless of your inner intent. Stop using classes of people as an insult.

I had to read it three times and then scroll down to the comments hoping for context and clarification.
