GOP Senate Candidate supports life sentence for rape victims who have abortions

See:
http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2012/09/04/790351/gop-senate-candidate-supported-life-sentences-for-rape-victims-who-obtain-abortions/

"Rep. Rick Berg (R-ND), the candidate for Senate from North Dakota, once voted for a bill that would have made any woman who obtained an abortion guilty of a homicide crime — even if it were in the case of rape or incest. Indeed, the bill Berg supported does not even contain an explicit exception if an abortion is necessary to save the woman’s life"

It's a life sentence for HER.
Our Constitution forbids cruel and unusual punishment. Oh, wait-- that's only for convicted criminals. Cruel and unusual punishment for crime *victims* is perfectly fine!
Woman-hating: the race to the bottom.

Anyone who proposed or voted for this should be barred from elective office forever, except in Taliban controlled territory.

At least that is the impression I got from Rachel Maddow last night, she mentioned an IUD.

She was going through a number of these wingnuts and their cockamamey ideas.
