One (of many) stark differences between the two conventions

One thing I really noticed was that rmoney and lyin' ryan had to try and make themselves likable and like "everyman" where President Obama and Vice President Biden didn't have to even try. Obama and Biden are proven "regular" guys who have seen the working class struggles and in fact, have even been a part of it.
I mean, Biden went through a nightmare losing his wife and daughter and nearly losing his son. And I believe it made him a stronger man, one who is capable of realizing that life isn't all politics and power all the time. And of course, President Obama's story has been well documented; graduating Harvard with honors, choosing to help underprivileged people in the hard conditions of Chicago's notorious South Side instead of taking a high paying job in some law firm, and getting into politics to actually make a difference instead of merely being a power hungry megalomaniac. And those are the type of people I want leading this great land of ours. Not some jackasses who only care about themselves and have the "what's in it for me?" attitude that repukes and some dems have.
Apologies to any jackasses out there who may have been offended by a comparison to repukes.

Rmoney wishes we all envied him or looked up to him and wished we were as high and mighty as he. But he isn't one of us. He wants to be above us.

obedience to the rich. Unfortunately, there is still a good bit of that wrong thinking by the
lower income people. That's understandable. They have been propagandized by the wealthy for hundreds of years and it is still happening. But, America may have turned the corner on this.
The 99% are finally catching on to how badly they have been treated. This reminds me of the French Revolution thinking , only not as drastic.

Curiously, the DNC took a page out of Reagan's 1980 playbook, but switched it around. Carter was the pessimist because he was telling the truth (as opposed to the RNC now which is lying) and Reagan was the optimist by lying (as opposed to the DNC now which was telling the truth). I suspect the outcome will be similar.
