Making The Abstract... Painfully Concete...

The GOP never gave up on Reagan's Starve The Beast... they just moved from hoping massive deficits would undermine New Deal and Great Society programs the far Right loathed.... to massive debt AND massive deficits.

But all this debt is nothing but theft from future taxpayers AND this fiscal insanity poses a existential threat to those existing and future programs Dems think would improve the lives of working Americans.

But the Dems have been shy from attacking the GOP's Tax & Spend accusations the past 40 years allowing the Orwellian Right to hoodwink the right wing base that tax cuts are just "their"money... not theft from their kids and grandkids.

So how do Dems drive home these fiscal issues... when the numbers are too abstract. A million, billion, trillion... too many zeroes.

Back in 03 or 04 a web site tried... and this is the archived page: https://web.archive.org/web/20040604030839/http://crunchweb.net/87billion/index.htm

Is it just me or does this make anyone else sick?
