COVID-19 in France. Its in the hospitals now

I am worried for my elderly mother still living there. The French authorities just announced that two medical professionals from a hospital in Paris tested positive.

They are now in quarantine and being treated in yet another hospital.
Another hospital had his ER department all quarantined and shut down because of suspected cases there.

A catholic priest was sick and tested positive after his return from Italy.

Hospitals and churches are where many elderly people congregate. That is not looking good.

I am fully expecting we will face the same thing here given how inept the Trump administration is.

These first person reports from DUers help flesh out exactly what's going on in different parts of the world.

I hope your mother will be okay and that French authorities are doing a better job of keeping citizens informed (and telling them what to do and not to do) than our administration is.
