A little info from inside* the Tim Kaine campaign
*inside meaning it is third person from an outside source.
My canvassing guy (a pro in from out of state) told me today that he spoke to a Republican former Chief of Staff for one of our many former Governors who has seen THEIR internal polling numbers .....and...............
Tim Kaine is going to win.
I asked naively "Where is George Allen? He is almost invisible"
Campaign guy "He doesn't have any money." Allen is waiting to the very end to put his face in front of the public. Kaine has three positive ads out - one in Spanish (he is fluent in Spanish from his Jesuit mission to Honduras taking time out of law school).
I knocked on about 60 doors today in central Henrico County (north of Richmond) and had several fulll support responses. I think I am about 300 now - should reach 1,000 by election day.
My wife and I have a set schedule for our work at "the office" - we are full in.
Our daughter asked today if Momma was going back to her "regular job after the campaign"
