Why can't we just license a test kit that we know works from another country?? Manufacture here?

Another domino that will fall hard when things get rough over the next month or so, when the full impact of CV becomes more clear, and the steps that this admin. took (priority over preserving/creating profits VS. need to save lives) will doom further this administration and its blatant support of the business world and its god, money.

He hates working class and poor and thinks he can keep the testing small so he personally profits and nothing that doesn't personally profit him happens. He is having CDC control and deny kits most of the time so they don't run out of the few kits they have. He is personally responsible for firing the pandemic task force in 2018 so there is no structure in place. If there is a pandemic, he can fire Pence and call a national emergency and cancel the elections.

Elections are run by the individual states and even Republican-run states would give him the middle finger if he tried to get them to cancel.

If things get bad and there is the chaos he's trying to create - watch him and watch the supine Russian Repug SCOTUS go along with it.
Repug governors won't have a say if he sends out troops to "secure" voting places.

As the axiom goes "Never let a good crisis go to waste"...
Who is gonna make a bundle or advance politically be cause of this problem

Many bigger cities have universities close by with the capability. Most larger university medical centers could devise a test pretty easily, I would think. That would take care of the blue cities, maybe the red rural areas could just pray it away.
