Gallup, 9/9: Obama 49% (unchanged), Romney 44% (-1), Obama Approval 50% (-2)

http://www.gallup.com/home.aspx

Gallup's latest election poll, their 7-day rolling average, gives Obama a 5-point lead rather than yesterday's 4-point lead, thanks to a 1-point drop in support for Romney.

The President's approval rating is off by 2 points from yesterday's high, but 50% is still very good. The approval rating is a 3-day rolling average, so this is the polling from Thursday through Saturday.

Thanks for the reminder that the approval is a 3-day. I was starting to get my freakout on when I saw that change, but it makes much more sense on a 3-day. I thought it was the 7-day. Your pointing that out eases my anxiety much, so THANK YOU!
