That's an alien concept for the GOP anyway, but personally I don't think "In God We Trust" belongs on our currency in the first place. It's been on coins since 1864 and on paper money since 1957. "E. pluribus unum" precedes it, dating to the creation of the Great Seal in 1782 and it makes sense to have that on the currency. I'm not against religion, but the Constitution actually prohibits the adoption of religion by the federal government - first done in 1956 and most recently in 2011 by the HOR. I won't shed a tear if they remove it from our currency, but it would make another remake of "Miracle on 34th Street" a bit complicated.
