SUNY, CUNY halting in-person classes to mitigate coronavirus threat

ALBANY — New York’s state and city public university systems will largely close down campuses and implement remote education for the remainder of the spring semester, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday.

I recall being in large lecture classes in the mid-1970's at the University of Washington and saying to myself, "Why isn't this just on TV?"
