These poll results are nice and all, but it's September

Rmoney and his supporters still have tons of money to spend, and we still have the debates to get through before the GE. I'm as happy as any of us, but we need to continue to send money and/or volunteer to ensure that President Obama is re-elected. We also need to focus on Senate and House races.

We must not take anything for granted. But I've read that September polls are generally indicative.. Honeycombe8 Sep 2012 #8

It is indeed early.

I don't see where selecting Ryan has been any help to Romney.

The GOP has tons of dough to help spread their manure.

I think the debates will sink Romney.

I think Obama will have coattails, which will help the Dems.

Dems must take nothing for granted.

of poll results close to the election. You can look at results for Bush-Kerry and see it. Bush trending ever so slightly up, then bam, he starts pulling ahead in September, after the conventions.

Anything can happen, though. Bob Woodward's book that says negative things about Obama is coming out, and it'll be covered on 60 Minutes and all the talk shows.

At a certain level of money, there is not really more and less, just enough and too much, yet so many seem to think that money solves all things, there is no such thing as enough, nor as too much. I do not agree. Sorry.

My hope is that you are right and voters will begin to tune it out.

and that will seal the election for Obama.

We do need to concentrate on giving Obama a Congress he can work with. I think we will hold on to the Senate, and I'm hoping we take back the House too although that's going to be a bit harder.

But polls in June really tell you little. Now they are more predictive.

And I expert a lot of dirty poo.

Of course, now I'll be accused of factory farming.
