Our local hospital put out a plea on social media for N95 masks.

An elderly friend of mine had a box of 10 that she keeps on hand for wildfire season when our air gets bad. She has asthma and COPD. She kept one mask for herself and offered the remaining 9 to the hospital. The immediately sent a courier to pick up the masks.

Health care workers are hanging by a thread.

They aren't the N95 ones but at least they are something and they meet cdc guidelines. Here is the link to the pattern. If you know someone who sews, ppass it along. I am sure hospitals and doctors offices would be grateful.

2. I sent out pattern to my mother

who has sewn her life and can toss a shirt together from fabric to finished in about 40 minutes. She is making them and so is Mrs K. they are all within the guidelines. I have a feeling I will be learning shortly how to cut fabric for Mrs K

4. If the industrial ones work, got to be piles of those with auto garages, painting companies, all

construction companies etc. Cher tweeted she would finance gowns, gloves, and masks. Do they just not exist in enough numbers?
