6. I'm a Chicago Cubs fan, so....

I'm so hopeful, but I'm also a Cubs fan and I've had my heart broken so many times before. As Chicago columnist Mike Royko used to say, "Some say the glass is half empty, some say it's half full, and the Cubs fan wonders when it will be knocked over."

I just don't want some crazy, Bull Shit, Right-Wing October surprise to shift the electorate at the last minute. I DO think we will win, but this country is so racist that it will be a lot closer than most people realize.

Aside from saving the Supreme Court and reelecting a really decent man (He's the Presidential Jackie Robinson with all the crap he and Michelle have had to put up with!), I'd love to think that all the Koch Brothers and Karl Rove millions will go down the drain in a losing effort.
