We really ARE living in a comic book!

I've suspected such for several years. The entire Trump-Gotham City shtick was painted a bit thick, garish, bold but juvenile. The rallies were designed for a two-dimensional world, a world of binaries, only one of them right. His press conferences were stuffed with half thoughts and vicious asides. His sidekicks (Bannon and Miller, esp.) are right out of Marvel casting. Etc., etc.

And then today's tweet has made me certain.

"I watch and listen to the Fake News, CNN, MSDNC, ABC, NBC, CBS, some of FOX (desperately & foolishly pleading to be politically correct), the @nytimes, & the @washingtonpost, and all I see is hatred of me at any cost. Don’t they understand that they are destroying themselves?"

How do we get out of here????

1. Well in comic books the good guys can win against overwhelming odds and multiple opponents.

We should be so fortunate in this reality.

4. I beg to differ.

Even King has twice the subtly as our current scene.

7. I like your analogy

The villains are evil personified, without an ounce of goodness to soften their razor sharp edges and corners. And their driving lustful desire is for power just for the sake of power. Power, the pursuit of which is all encompassing, with no thought wasted on what they will do with all that power when they get it.

11. Note the lack of any psychological dimension beyond

most simplistic and usually stereotypical.

10. Truly, 'Walking Dead Actor Daniel Newman hospitalized with suspected coronavirus'

The 38-year-old revealed on social media that he has a lot of the symptoms but has been unable to get tested for the disease.

“I guess a lot of #WalkingDead fans saw me in the emergency room regarding #CoronaVirus. Sorry I didn’t reply I needed time to process. So here’s what happened.

Yes I was just in Australia with Sam Smith, Dua Lipa, and thousands of people from around the world for Mardi Gras Pride.

I was exposed to some sick people and I started developing symptoms and then back in the states I was notified someone in our group tested positive for #Covid19."

Daniel, who starred on The Walking Dead for 10 episodes from 2016 to 2017, continued: “I spent all day calling every urgent care and hospital no one had tests! Finally I found one emergency room that told me my symptoms match and to come in immediately."

“I did all the tests and they told me because I have ‘mild symptoms’ the government won’t allow them to process my tests! They don’t have enough they’re not prepared, even though all my symptoms match.

They’re only allowed to process ‘severe symptoms, elderly, or people recently in Italy and China.’ It cost me $9,116!! and they didn’t even give me results.”

He was eventually released from the hospitalized and sent home to self quarantine in case he had COVID-19.

14. "We are all infected" is the literal truth!

We’re all walking victims and walking killers at the same time.

13. Comic books took over the movies...

I guess it was inevitable they would take over real life eventually.

16. That is an interesting observation and comment.

I don't really want to agree with you. But, I acknowledge that you may be right. I'm going to have to give your concept some serious thought.
