3. I've been watching BBC World News

And some Sky. Itís amazing how differently the coverage is presented. Facts seem to be more important rather than bickering panelists. Itís refreshing.

4. I've been listening to bbc news since the 50's(shortwave radio in those days).

While the accent is charming and adds 10 points to their IQs, and you frequently get world news that we never get otherwise, I would advise taking their usa news with some skepticism. They frequently misinterpret. They sometimes repeat unsubstantiated stories. They are sometimes malicious. Use the same skepticism you would use for their tabloids, eg. The Guardian.

6. That's not been my experience

The BBC is first rate, unlike the panic addicts on our cable news.
