The President is Crazy. Al Franken

The president is crazy*. We see that every day. But he is the president. He won the election – technically. So, we just have to live with it – having a president who is clinically insane*.

There is a diagnosis – narcissistic personality disorder*. It’s a real thing. And he has it. “I alone can fix it,” he told us at the Republican National Convention. Nothing he has said or done since would lead you to any other conclusion. He is a sociopath*, our president.

It was never okay. Having a nutcase* in the White House. But somehow he had survived three-plus years without facing a huge crisis – if you don’t count his impeachment as a huge crisis, which it sort of wasn’t. It didn’t really matter that he started his presidency by crazily insisting that his inaugural crowd was bigger than Obama’s. (What do suppose that was about?)

Not even one American would die because less than 24 hours into his presidency Americans were introduced to something called “alternative facts.” So, as constantly weird and offensive as it has been for Americans to have a bonkers* president, he skated through. Until Covid-19.

The president’s mental illness* allows him to be both intellectual sloth and supremely confident jerk, ever convinced that he (and he alone) can do everyone else’s job better than they. Generals, climate scientists, public health experts. And he’s always right. Because he’s a psychopath*. And this Donald Trump brand of psychopath* is never wrong. Even when being wrong will cause the additional deaths of perhaps hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Let’s start with his very first public assessment of the most-deadly worldwide pandemic in a century. Asked at Davos by a CNBC reporter, “Are there worries about a pandemic at this point?”

In essays, an asterisk signifies a footnote, additional information at the bottom of the page.

Grammatically it tells you there is a foot note but in sports it is used as a qualifier, like when a winner in a race is disqualified or a team's entire season is disqualified despite the fact that they won March Madness.

President* sort of tells me that the * means "not really"

which will eventually come out for real.

By grilling Sessions, he forced him into a corner where he had to recuse himself, which led to Rosenstein taking over, which led to Mueller.

Yes, it is scary to see him speak because he is so obviously mentally ill. Why don't more people speak out about his mental condition. I liked to watch his rallies because it was interesting to see a 100% mental case in action. Since the virus is on the scene, it is scary to see him in action.

He is totally unable to admit he made a mistake or misspoke. He lies and fabricates at the drop of a hat. Nobody with an ounce of common sense believes anything he says.

Please, Please vote this nutcase out of office in November.

Seems like he was usually accused when his picture with a woman was in a group-or an actual crowd.
Some reports from women at various events.

Maybe there is much more at issue than I am aware of.

My point is that I am pretty familiar with a groper, a grabber, a rub a dubber, suggestions etc. A long, long time ago.(complete exception for the sixties)

Woman know the difference between a real
goofball wannabe or actual danger ahead.

Trust me gentleman, when you are isolated from a crowd or actually alone with your target the odds of a touchdown are not worth the trouble.

The couple of pictures going around were quite public. Men don't pose when they are about to pounce.

Rapists are a death threat. Whole nother story.

I think Frankin was an uneducated goofball.

I heard a talk he gave at a Barnes & Noble in NYC, about a year before he ran for the Senate. He is an incredibly intelligent and sophisticated man.

there is nothing wrong with Trump, that he is a front man for a massive mind control operation by corporate GOP? Because the whole thing is run like a corporate PR department - deny, deflect, ignore, invent facts as time goes along, always manipulating them to the GOP corporate advantage. They are good at this. The tip off in this view is how corporate PR departments behave in a crisis - exactly like Trump: deny, deflect, ignore, invest facts as needed. "There is no immediate danger to the general public." Key word - immediate in the deny, ignore, deflect strategy. Catch my drift?

In other words, the crazy act is deliberate, practiced, rehearsed. How come he can do a press conference but was jumpy and irrelevant 3 months ago? It never seems to get worse, it just seems to get more convenient.
