Five years ago, the world looked to the United States for leadership on the ebola public health crisis. Nobody's doing that today during the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead, the United States is scraping and groveling to China and North Korea for help while Trump refuses to take advantage of the Defense Production Act to get American industry re-tooled and working for the common benefit of all Americans.
