(130,872 posts)Difficult to make a case for defamation (libel/slander, someone's words end up causing harm to your reputation or your livelihood. Libel is a written or published defamatory statement, while slander is defamation that is spoken by the defendant.)
Sadly, these days, dishonesty/lying is/may be protected speech, but would like to see someones try.

Perhaps that is why some Fox Host have changed their tune.
