A coworker has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employees who had contact with the person have been notified, and I was not among them. I've been working from home for over 2 weeks.

So the facility is closed until it can be totally disinfected. Apparently there are businesses that do this kind of cleanup, and they're going to be busy.

A couple of weeks ago, and they apparently were very thorough. No one could enter because it was toxic, they said. Of course, they don't want anyone contaminating it.

It was after most of us who could work from home were doing so. They closed down for over a week, disinfected, wrapped a lot of stuff in plastic and are now trying to get masks for those who have to work on site. My company assured us we will not go back until they deem it is safe - regardless of what our Governor or Trump has to say about it. Thankfully we have one of the good Governors.

Before this even got big, my workplace took action to ensure we were as safe as possible - opening all the doors to all the rooms for both air flow and to cut down on germs, having janitorial staff disinfect everything every day, and by providing us with disinfectant for our cubicles, then sending us to work from home before the official order.

was so noticeable was,not all the cleanup workers were wearing a full Hazmat Suit. Some only had dust masks and had bare skin exposed from crappy painters coveralls.

UPS drivers just started getting gloves and hand sanitizer provided to them by the company, but it's sporadic.
UPS driver didn't have gloves on today, so I gave him a pair plus a shot of sanitizer.

Our UPS Delivery fellow was not wearing any gloves or mask when he did his Hot Shots in the neighborhood today. Same for the Fed EX fellow.

Noticed the Pizza Delivery person wearing a mask and nylon gloves yesterday.

We are getting them daily from different companies. N95 masks can't be found, but we only need them for truck drivers coming in to our company. Our cleanroom suits have permanent masks built in to the suits.

That's 20 masks per box, so 80 masks. I wish I could get more, but it's good they are portioning them out.

So one master case. And you need those for a Clean Room Operation. That shows just how corrupt the supply chain has become.

But he also was not on the contact list.

That might change, if any on the initial contact list test positive, and then that person's contacts are traced, etc.
