And wow, you guys are messed up, but things are pretty weird in many the "Normal" ones.

By the way - out of a sampling of 15 quadrillion universes, there are only three where Donald Trump is President of the United States, and he was removed from office in the other two. So yeah - sucks to live here.

But back to the last universe we visited. They have a pandemic too and Hillary Clinton is the POTUS. The big issue there is the un-ending Republican demands for impeachment. In January and February of 2020, Clinton began taking measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in the United States.

And man did the Republicans and right-wing media go nuts!: Testing, mass acquisition of PPE, military mobilization, field "Hospitals", helping China contain the "so-called" disease. "Jade Helm" on steroids! This "Pandemic Response Team" is just a code term for martial law!

But now its April and the tone has changed. Republicans are demanding Clinton be removed from office based on predictions that as many as 15,000 Americans may die from the epidemic she failed to stop.

Good to know that was not the worst possible reality. I'm going to go back to the one where Al Gore won in 2000. That's where we have transdimensional portals.

16. In the Al Gore universe, the national debt was paid off in 2009 and nobody pays taxes anymore.

National defense is robust, the economy is robust, polluters have actually jumped onboard with keeping our waters and air clean, wealth abounds, and people have universal health care for all. We don't tell them about your GWB direction though. Not because it would make them overjoyed, but because there's enough goodwill, they might try to travel to your Earth and give you a minor history lesson on why you should never elect republicans.

Some of my subjects really hate the 50 kilometers per hour universal speed limit for anything but muscle or wind powered vehicles.

On the other hand we have mandatory 8 week paid vacations every year, and one year paid vacations every ten years. Plenty of time to see the world.

I keep feeling like so many of us are not from this dimension but some kind of shift opened a wormhole and has pulled us into a space where light doesn't bend the same way, gravity is stronger and shadows make weird looking monsters in the White House hallways.
