Disproportionate COVID-19 in African Americans
I am waiting for this to blow up in the news. So far, this might be the best thing I've seen. Perhaps because it is early data, it is not hitting anything prominently that I follow. It is important!

1. I wonder if church attendance has disproportionately affected the infection rate too.

5. In addition vitamin D deficiency may be a factor
In upper respiratory infections including viral infections.
There is some indication in medical literature that there are strong links between low vitamin D levels and viral infections and their severity. There are also indications that low vitamin D is more prevalent among African Americans in US. |

7. I posted on the other thread that this is being reported in NC also.
And it seems obvious also from the location of the “hot spots.”
This needs more coverage everywhere; I’m sure the mainstream media must be aware of it. |
