In an interview to be broadcast tomorrow, Ryan says:
"You want specifics, and you're right, you should have them. But I want to know that I'm a new generation of Republican, in touch with the music of our times - like Foghat, and Kiss before Gene Simmons became an asshole. So, I was hanging out with my college roommates, and we were listening to the Beatles. You know, spinning Revolution Number Nine backwards on the turntable. And we were talking about how Charles Manson claimed he was inspired by hidden messages in Beatles music - and it hit me that the Beatles had a warning and a plan for saving Social Security, which I boil down to:
We're not gonna need you,
We're not gonna feed you,
When you're 64 "

(62,444 posts)Everyone in the UK and Europe generally dresses in rags and are constantly suffering from illness, as a consequence of their lack of access to healthcare.
Moreover, they all hate America, and tend to be godless zombies in thrall to Marxist ideology.
They cannot accomplish anything of consequence unless we do it for them. They wear socks with sandals, and they hardly ever bathe - except for the French, who wash only their genitals in curious bathroom fixtures.

(2,424 posts)Day after day Alone on a hill The man with the foolish grin Is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him They can see that he's just a fool And he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning round
Well on the way Head in a cloud The man of a thousand voices Talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him Or the sound he appears to make And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning round
And nobody seems to like him They can tell what he wants to do And he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning round
Oh, round, an' round, an' round, an' round, an' round He never listens to them He knows that they're the fools They don't like him
The fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning round

he could take it wrong and make it his anthem
or Harrison's solo Living in the Material World might turn on Lyan + Rmoney too if misinterpreted
