The view from the Tenderloin

The View from the Tenderloin:

A nice, quiet Sunday. There is no compelling need, other than my own natural wrestlesness, to go out. We all must take the shelter in place order seriously, we are all in this together. So I've put the Netflix on my tv, and I'm watching movies, thinking, and worrying. About the nation, about my mother, about my little lost buddy, about our sudden transformation into whatever is coming.
I am old, and it's hard for me to do this. I've been fighting the good fight for years now, for my sanity, for my home, for the humanity of my damaged friend. These things are my life, I don't know anything else. I've discovered many things about myself during this ordeal. I am stronger than I thought, I am harsh with those people and things that interfere with my struggles. Many think me crazy now. Life does that.
God bless you all
Hold those dear to you close
God save the Republic

After a week of freakishly hot weather it good seasonably cool, but now dark clouds are rolling in and it has been raining erratically. Later today it is supposed to storm violently, with hail and possible tornadoes. Not a good day to be out in any case.
