Heartbreaking for all graduating seniors (high school, college, grad school) this year.

pres is killing people and ruining the economy and spoiling our daily lives. I hope he never has to live with another Repug in office again ever.

I don't know if Barack Obama would go for it but I think that would definitely be cool as heck.

Trump would be livid.

Obama giving part of it, and Hillary giving part of it.

You know how much he likes blacks and women!

Maybe it would be enough for him to have a giant aneurism.......and countless others of his Trumphumpers....

Perhaps he should even lead it

in person graduation July 27-28-31-ish. A virtual commencement speech would be wonderful.

However I just have to wonder if he gives himself a quiet chuckle when Dolt45 has a little temper tantrum over his doing something that to the sane world would be rather an insignificant remark or action.

I do, and what a great venue and a once in a century opportunity.

Not to poke this president though.

If this actually happened, the frightened would be less afraid,
the anxious would be less fretful,
the suffering would know they are seen, that we can hear their keening,
Our elders would feel how much they are loved and needed right here with the rest of us,
Our vulnerable would be reassured
And we all would feel better.

Our graduates would be acknowledged by the entire country, which isn't prom, but is cool.

On the political side, sadly, the press might be lead by their tails along with way too many GOP elephants, to degrade the moment by making comparisons between Barack Obama and Joe Biden,

Rather than where the comparisons belong: between the pro-living Democrats and the pro-grave digging GOP.

That said, you're right about the frightened being less afraid. I always felt safe with O in the White House.

and they got two past presidents out of the deal for their graduation address. George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. They put on a great show.

I hope President Obama does do something like this. These young adults have worked hard for four years, and they could use a lift right now. The job market isn't exactly going to come out to meet them after graduation.

hearing someone presidential again would make me sad.
