Also, this is not their native language. What excuse to right wingers have?

(4,119 posts)When it happens, we blame the person who held the gun. I don't think people in other countries blame the entire population of the U.S. Only Americans...would blame a whole country for what a few did.
Oh....and the sign...very touching and he has nice penmanship.

(39,909 posts)...in Afghanistan.
We invaded and occupied an entire country for the actions of a handful of criminals hiding in the Afghan desert.
Go figure.
International Law Enforcement & Seal Team 6 was the correct response.

(3,220 posts)The war in Afghanistan would have been lucky to have been even mentioned in any history book. Bin Laden would have taken a dirt nap in 2002 (2003 at the latest), and Saddam would still be the whiny, harmless (to the international community) despot that he always was.
bvar22
(39,909 posts)and we are STILL there killing and being killed in the name of a phony "War on Terror".
As much as it stinks, Obama & the Democratic Party now officially co-own
the nightmare in Afghanistan with the Republicans.

(19,458 posts)He would allow innocents to be killed, if it meant he got the Presidency. Like every film you see of someone in power who personally doesn't have the taste for things like that, they say "do what you have to do" in order to keep their power.
Romney's no holds barred ambition is frightening. Bush was a puppet, so was Reagan. But Romney is not a puppet, but is not beyond being used to get power.. and beyond using others to get it.
agreed...

(2,338 posts)I don't give a crap about spelling. It's hard enough for our own citizens to master the American English with all it's inconsistencies. Don't get me on our educatinal system.
So, when folks don't get it quite right, I will NOT ridicule them. It is the sentiment, not the proper spelling.

(13,992 posts)it that it appears as though the gentlemen did not misspell anything, which was the point of the OP.

(10,960 posts)It's easy to picture the government or some group handing out some signs for the "we're not the bad guys" photo-op, but the obviously homemade ones are the most meaningful.

I am sure they are sick of their religion being used by zealots for political purposes also.
