Joe's Vice President,

Who do you think?

Hear me out; Sally Yates. She is a fire plug and since Trump fired her when she was acting AG it would be a huge slap in the face to Trump. Picking her would freak Trump out.

Also I think she is certainly qualified and feisty.

Who are you picking?

1. Has she ever run for office?

Can she help flip a swing state? Will she energize the African American vote?

8. Being from a swing state eliminates a lot of my favorite picks.

Kamala Harris is high on my list and she is from deep blue California.

Iím also concerned that her record as a prosecutor might not help to attract progressive voters.

2. I don't have a pick but I wouldn't object to Yates.

My only misgiving about her is that she's never held an elected office. She'd be a great AG, though.

If then GA Secretary of State, Brian KKKemp hadnít stolen his own gubernatorial election, Sbrams would be our governor now.

I wouldnít be so sure about that. Many Sanders supporters turned on her.

And Clinton has the African American vote too but they still didnít come out in the same numbers that they did for Obama.

And she would be our first Latino president or vice-president. She would actually be the first Latino on the national ballot.

I like Elizabeth Warren but I don't think she will excite the Sanders faithful any more than any other left-leaning candidate. In the end none of these people are Bernie Sanders and none of them are seen as comparable to having Bernie on the ticket.

Any arguments about Bidenís age or health will only help Trump.

If experience ever mattered Trump wouldnít be President. Clinton would.
Obama would have lost to McCain.
Gore would have defeated W.
Bush I would have won instead of Bill Clinton.
Experience has never mattered and never will.

Anything about Bidenís age or health are, even if youíre unwilling to admit it.

And Republicans are not making any arguments about Warren coming from a blue state or her appeal to African American voters, so swing and a miss on that.

41. Yes, Warren

From Axios article on Michigan and Wisconsin:

https://www.axios.com/vice-president-women-color-warren-poll-biden-c75d2901-aead-424c-a5b1-a987ab312c6c.html

A group commissioned a poll in two Midwestern swing states to test the viability of women of color to be Joe Biden's vice presidential pick and found Stacey Abrams as the top choice for black voters ó but Elizabeth Warren as the overall candidate to beat.

Details: Kamala Harris was the only candidate of color to break the top three for overall support, along with Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Warren, in this survey of Michigan and Wisconsin voters conducted for Donors of Color Action and reviewed by Axios.

But Warren reflected the most consistent support among white and black voters in both states.

I'm not sure I agree, mostly because of her age. I'd like Biden to choose someone who can ru for president in 2024 or 2028, when he's done. I'm afraid Warren will be too old then.

23. This is the reason why Warren should be the pick.

The party of governance and serious ideas: The pandemic has laid bare the danger of an administration that does not value expertise or take the task of governing seriously. President Donald Trump's haphazard respond to Covid-19 at every step of this crisis will intensify the desire for an administration that can handle the demands of the office.
