Do you know who is running the Romney campaign?

It is Mitt Romney.

His history is one of secret dealings and going it alone and keeping very few confidants. Just as he was the one still in charge as Bain was supposedly making deals without him. He remained in charge. He trusts no one but himself, except for maybe Ann Romney?

Yes, he keeps in contact with Karl Rove and a few Super Pac contributors, but only for what they can contribute to his campaign financially. He has a lot of faith in the power of money. He doesn't feel he needs anyone around him to advise on any other subject. Even when he chose Ryan as VP, he was quick to let everyone know that it was his Medicare and economic plan that would be the blueprint for his Administration.

So when someone asks who is advising Romney, the answer is Romney. He is much like the person that chooses to defend himself in a criminal trial. He has a fool for a client.

(except the gay guy, and he was fired months ago, not for gaffes, but for being gay). Mitch thinks he's right where he should be at this point in his campaign. Keep up the good work, asshole! You will go down in history as one of the worst candidates ever! Hopefully you will be just a footnote in an obscure textbook about disastrous political moves!

I keep saying he needs better people, but since no one ever gets fired, it's probably him leading the show. Of course, he may not want to fire anyone just so nobody can point out that he likes to fire people...

at the senior management level...and there is one character trait that all CEO's share. They are used to having their own way.
Sometimes outside forces (their boards, regulators) run up against them, and there is usually a fight...but they are pretty much spoiled brats who are used to having things their own way, ALL THE TIME.

That clearly is evident with Romney. And the President needs to draw that out in the debates.

and you have a guy who can not possibly imagine an instance where he is wrong. Most candidates have people prepping them before every speech and interview to clarify their talking points, etc. He doesn't know or care what he said last time he just says what he wants to say and refuses to accept the validity of criticism.

The 'disbanded' PNAC, whose players we all know very well and are active as part of the American Enterprise Institute, are advising him and cheering him on; Bolton and Rumsfeld were out and about yesterday.

PNAC has never gone away, and we all need to be aware of their plan, and that they're still working towards it. If Romney is elected, they'll definitely bomb Iran and blow up the entire middle east.
