(108,953 posts)Steve Jobs had special claim to it.
Have special claim, why would have Xerox let his company use GUI or even a refined version of their mouse without suing Apple?
Xerox had an agreement to invest in Apple in exchange for Apple getting to use there technology. Bill stole Apples ideas and tried to build a monopoly off of them. Bills giving away money he never deserved in the first place. He doesnt need the pat on the back.

(578 posts)I have volunteered at a local elections to help democratic candidates. I have helped register people to vote. I have also mentored kids who are at risk and helped them to get on the right path. Currently I have helped a bunch of young people register to vote who werent able to vote in the last election but will vote in this one and they have told me they are all going to vote for Biden. Keep in mind I live in a swing state so thats a pretty good contribution.
Now tell me what contributions you have made?

https://www.nytimes.com/1989/12/15/business/company-news-xerox-sues-apple-computer-over-macintosh-copyright.html
The Xerox Corporation filed suit here today against Apple Computer Inc., accusing it of unlawfully using Xerox copyrights in its Macintosh and Lisa computers.
Xerox's suit, which was filed in Federal District Court, charges Apple with copyright misrepresentation and seeks more than $150 million in royalties and damages.
Xerox contends that the Lisa and Macintosh software stems from work originally done by Xerox scientists and that it was used by Apple without permission.
Xerox's own personal computers were not commercially successful, and for many years the company made no attempt to uphold the copyrights on its graphical interface software. Such software allows a user to select programs and instruct the computer by pointing at symbols on the screen rather than typing in commands.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has admitted he cried when he discovered that the late Steve Jobs had tricked him into designing a game for which Jobs received a majority of the profit.
Speaking to the BBC in the programme Steve Jobs: Billion Dollar Hippy, which aired on Wednesday evening, Wozniak explained that when Jobs had been approached by Atari to create a new "break-out" game, he got Wozniak to do the work, but only paid him less than half of what he received from the company for the job.
When asked if he was bitter about the deal, Wozniak said no, but confessed: "I cried, I cried quite a bit when I read that in a book." It was years later that Wozniak discovered he had been cheated by the tech guru.

He freakin gave away $10 billion, why wouldnt he have just kept that instead of being the most evil monster in world history?
And another branch of the conspiracy is that the vaccine is just a ruse to get the microchip implanted into us.
Our Statehouse had a small open up the state and let us kill your old people rally, and one sign was No Bill Gates vaccine, no mark of the beast.
And these people have voter IDs and own guns.
