Every day, every speech, every utterance from Mittens' mouth...

...is a colossal disaster.

So how does he start off his rally this morning (wherever the hell he was...not sure)? He makes some fleeting, off-handed remarks about the death of Ambassador Stevens and the other diplomats. Something like "Isn't that terrible what happened?" And the tone was not somber or serious. It was detached and almost flighty...the type of comment someone makes about bad news when they want to move on as quickly as they can. 'Did you hear that Bob and Mary broke up?' Kinda like that. Then some protesters (or a protester...not sure)interrupted him. How does Mitt handle it? Not by calling them out and rightly dressing them down for their lack of class and respect. Instead he briefly tries to keep going and then basically decides "fuck it" and says something like "well I was going to suggest a moment of silence but since these people (or that guy) want to keep interrupting we'll just move on".

How human, how caring, how presidential of you Willard. Every time you open your mouth you make an even bigger ass of yourself, and show yourself to be the wholly unqualified disaster you would be if you were ever elected president.

It struck me that he not only didn't name the people who died, but seemed to forget the word "ambassador" when he gave his perfunctory remarks.

I was reaching for a better adjective in my OP to describe is remarks. You found it for me.
