Nancy Pelosi: Welcome Back, Mr. Ryan!

from National Journal: http://www.nationaljournal.com/congress-legacy/democrats-welcome-back-mr-ryan-to-capitol-20120913

In mock giddy appreciation of the return of GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan to the Capitol from the campaign stump on Thursday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s office has produced a sarcastic video titled “Welcome Back, Mr. Ryan!”

Their video opens with the tune from the 1970s TV sitcom “Welcome Back Kotter,” and then proceeds to show Ryan being assailed on talk shows and elsewhere on some of his political stances in instances where his answers appear less than confident.

, , , Democrats apparently don’t want his appearance to go unnoticed.

A major part of their video shows Ryan being asked about--and trying to defend--how he and other Republicans can criticize Democrats for the looming defense sequester cuts, even though he and other GOP lawmakers also voted in favor of last year’s Budget Control Act , , ,

In reality, the Republicans’ sequester-replacement bill is little more than a pre-election messaging vehicle, and it is also a disingenuous way to attack Democrats on the campaign stump for not helping to block the upcoming scheduled defense reductions . . .

He is not a 'policy wonk', he is not a 'budget maven', he is not even an intelluctual of any kind.

He was chosen to put forth the Randian budget given to him by those that seek to profit from it. He is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Koch Cartel.

This should be an ad that runs everywhere!

And they can even add "To be continued..." since it's obvious that he won't stop the parade if lies.

and a black heart to be a devotee of Ayn Rand. This guy blathers right wing talking points and republican sycophants stand around and golf clap. I actually think I heard them going "hrumph hrumph hrumph rumph" during his last appearance. Keep putting him on T.V., ask him questions, give him all the time he needs to answer. The more you see, the stupider he looks. Just keep replaying his moronic answers over and over. Eventually, all but the most dense among us will realize he is full of what my grandmother used to call...Donkey Dust.

Whoever thought that was a good idea should be fired from the Romney/Ryan team.

Has Romney fired *anyone* yet in his inner circle? I thought he liked firing people! Or maybe it's only the little people he likes to fire...
