Looks like msnbc is correcting their coverage.
now they are explicitly discussing all the holes in reades story instead of going accusatory on Biden

Brian Williams and a familiar woman journalist (can't remember her name) talking about tone, tone of all things, as they juxtaposed Bidens denial with the pos denial..I want to say her name is Susan Parker..but can't find..
So, when you say looks like MSNBC is correcting coverage..that is a good thing..but if they are not making last nights full 11th hour segment available..I'll keep searching.. Thanks for this drray 23.. |

Yes, I saw that too and was so glad to finally hear a sane voice in all this. Lately, I've preferred Brian Williams The 11th Hour over MSNBC's other programs. Page was on with Donna Edwards too and they both were much more reasonable than what I was hearing on the other shows.

Had the woman. Calls were being made everywhere to fire him..
Scarborough and MIka had Biden on. MIka tried to act like a serious reporter, asking the same question over and over. Finally Biden had enough, asked her what she was trying to prove when he had explained several times that Personnel records would not be in his University records. Considering the track record of MIka and Joe they are on shaky ground. |

It was painful to watch that interview. After all these years, Mika should be able to do a decent interview. That was so unprofessional, very disappointing.
Everyone is so upset that Mika and Joe didn't ask Donald Trump tough questions in 2016, but Mika is quick to go after a man of great integrity. |

45. I hadn't watched the show in years
I just started watching it again the last couple of weeks because of the pandemic. Joe isn't as bad as he used to be, but he still goes off on these long, tedious monologues and everyone else fights the urge to roll their eyes. Mika still comes across as very insecure and nervous, which can be exhausting. Her interview of Biden seemed to be personal for some reason. My daughter says Mika's behavior reminded her of a sexual assault survivor. If so, perhaps that is why she seemed to get so emotional.
I'm amazed the show has lasted as long as it has. |

From the sound of it, didn't miss much, and I don't think I'll bother looking for it online.
Mika is very weak on air, and Joe is, as you say, tedious and quite pompous in addition. I find them insufferable and agree with your amazement. Do they have compromising photos of their boss or something? Speaking of photos, those cutsie photos of Joe and Mika leading into commercial breaks were the straw that broke the camel's back for me. They were pre-marriage, and always reminded me of scenes from the movie "2 1/2 Weeks". There was one in particular of them standing in a dark, dank outside stairwell, soaked from the rain, with Mika with her back against the wall and Joe hovering over her. It was so damn unprofessional and out of place. |

50. In the early years,
Joe was more of a bully on the show. He was rude and domineering, often snapping at people for no apparent reason. Its hard to believe the kind of stuff he got away with on air. Since he got married (again), he seems a lot more mild mannered or maybe it is because Trump got elected. His late father-in-law publicly called him "stunningly superficial". I think it was on his own show.

Although I'm a major woman's advocate, I am NOT for women using #me too to fuck some guy over the coals. Doesn't the Senate has the authority to search and release those records. You would think McTurtle face would be combing the files himself. Especially after Biden said to. 65. I've read since then that this is Reade's excuse which I don't believe..
Tara Reade, the former Senate aide who alleged that former Vice President Joe Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 while she was working on his staff, said Saturday that she isn't ready yet to respond to Biden's denial of the allegations.
“I’m digesting and processing everything he said,” she told The Wall Street Journal. “I will respond.” Reade said that she had planned on doing a sit-down interview with Fox News on Sunday, but canceled it due to threats she received aimed at her and her adult daughter. In 2019, Reade was one of several women who came forward and said that Biden’s alleged public touching made them uncomfortable. In late March, Reade alleged publicly that in 1993, the former vice president sexually assaulted her in a corridor on Capitol Hill. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/495836-tara-reade-says-she-is-not-ready-to-respond-to-biden-denial ![]() |

Used to be reliable, now it is owned by a Republican billionaire.

78. What Hays needs
He needs a dose of former staffer Donna B. Leavit and his sister Purple Hays "coming forward" to tell of perceived offenses Chris Hays committed at someone's 7th birthday party 25 years ago, and telling the graphic details on Joy Reid's show.
Maybe then he'll gain some journalistic perspective? My dad was once president of the Washington, DC Gridiron Club, the one that does the big bash and show for the President every March. He would have been sick at the depths that parts of his profession has descended to. |

79. Good step in the right direction.
I've been boycotting them since the Fri. Morning Schmoe attack bunny Biden attack from Mika and the ongoing travesty of the coverage for Biden vs. ignoring what drumpf did in the same timeframe. So, I will try Nicole & Rachel to see if they are on Biden about this while ignoring the far worse and habitual actions of the person in the WH. First words of BS about Reade and that station will be off again which means I will not be watching any news on tv.
