Never realized how long 4 years feels like
When people (Republicans) elect unqualified, cruel sociopaths like Trump to a 4 year term. The last 3 1/2 years has felt like a decade. I live in Kentucky and Matt Bevin aka Diet Trump's 4 years as Governor was an absolute nightmare. Thankfully we now have an awesome Governor named Andy Beshear. Most Kentuckians feel like we just got out of a 4 year abusive relationship.
I see a lot of parallels between our recent Governors race and the upcoming Presidential election. Like Beshear, Joe Biden would return this country to a sense of normalcy. And we'd definitely appreciate that after 4 years of abuse and neglect from Donald Trump.
Hopefully we can pull this off in November. Unfortunately just like Bevin I'm sure Trump would do anything to win reelection and won't concede without a fight.
I'll feel lucky to survive 4 years of Trump. Especially since his incompetence is literally getting people killed. I think Joe Biden and the woman he chooses to be his running mate are our last hope fto save our democracy.
