"when the Constitution of the United States hangs, as it were, upon a single thread, they will have to call for the 'Mormon' Elders to save it from utter destruction; and they will step forth and do it."

Maybe Mitt fancies himself as Mormon Saviour?
George Romney
In 1967, US presidential candidate George W. Romney said the following regarding the White Horse Prophecy: "I have always felt that they meant that sometime the question of whether we are going to proceed on the basis of the Constitution would arise and at this point government leaders who were Mormons would be involved in answering that question."[5]

(2,424 posts)2. Mitt is the Anti-Christ
The man of God overtaken by darkness.
The man that had his layoff victims assemble their own gallows from which to be hung.
The torturer of helpless animals.
The bully hair cutter at school.
The devilish grin while the fallen bodies were still warm.
It all fits.

he feels that he can lie and pander, whatever it takes to fulfill the prophecy.
when he was running for gov. of mass. the eomormon elders told him it was ok to be prolife because it would be only way to win in mass.
